Truck Accessory FAQ
Straight answers on pricing, timing, warranty and installation

Appointments & turnaround
Do I need an appointment?
For anything beyond a quick accessory swap, yes. Booking ahead means the part is on the shelf and a bay is open when you arrive. We’re open Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00, at 6150 Metro Plantation Rd in Fort Myers.
How long will my truck be here?
Most hitches, steps and tonneau covers are same-day — usually two to three hours. Spray-in bed liners are a full-day job because of prep and cure time. Commercial upfits and lighting builds are quoted with a specific window. We’ll always give you a realistic estimate before you book, not after.
Can I wait while the work is done?
For shorter jobs, yes. For anything running more than a couple of hours we’d suggest arranging a ride — we’ll tell you which category your job falls into when we quote it.
How far out are you booking?
CONFIRM: typical lead time — e.g. “most work books within a week; bed liners run 1–2 weeks in season.”
Installation policy
Will you install a part I bought somewhere else?
In most cases, yes. Send us the make, model and part number along with your truck’s year and trim, and we’ll confirm fitment before you come in. There are a few products we won’t install for warranty or safety reasons, and we’ll tell you that up front rather than after you’ve made the drive.
Do you only work on trucks?
No. We install on trucks, work vans, Jeeps, SUVs and powersports vehicles. Commercial fleets are a large part of what we do — shelving, partitions, ladder racks, lighting and branding for service vehicles.
What if the part doesn’t fit my truck?
We verify fitment against your exact configuration before we schedule — bed length, cab style, tow package, sensors. If something still doesn’t fit once it’s in front of us, we stop and call you before doing anything that can’t be undone.
Do you handle fleet or commercial accounts?
Yes. We upfit work vans and service trucks across Southwest Florida and can schedule multiple vehicles in sequence to keep your crews running. CONFIRM: fleet pricing / account terms, and whether there’s a dedicated contact.
Buying, payment & shipping
Can I order online and have it installed here?
Yes — that’s the most common way people do it. Order the part through the site and note that you want it installed, or request a quote and we’ll handle both together so you’re not coordinating two transactions.
How much does installation cost?
It depends on the part and the vehicle. A standard Class III hitch with a 4-pin harness is very different from a full van upfit. Request a quote with your year, make, model and what you want done, and you’ll get a firm number covering parts and labor — not a ballpark that changes at pickup.
What payment methods do you accept?
CONFIRM: cards accepted, whether you take checks / ACH for fleet accounts, deposit policy on special orders.
Do you offer financing?
CONFIRM: financing provider and terms, or delete this question entirely if you don’t offer it.
Do you ship parts?
CONFIRM: shipping policy, free-shipping threshold, and whether local pickup is offered at checkout.
Warranty & returns
Is the installation warrantied?
Our workmanship is backed in house, and the manufacturer’s warranty on the part stays intact because the install is done to spec. Keep your paperwork — we document what went on the vehicle.
What warranty comes with a spray-in bed liner?
Our spray-on bed liners carry a limited lifetime warranty against peeling, blistering, bubbling, flaking and workmanship issues. Full details are on the bed liner page.
Can I return a part I ordered?
CONFIRM: return window, restocking fee, and how special-order or installed items are treated.
Something isn’t right — what now?
Call the shop at (239) 208-9870 and bring the vehicle back. We’d far rather adjust something than have you live with it.
